I know exactly the feeling! I was so enchanted as my plane descended through the clouds over Ottawa on Wednesday revealing the snow-covered ground. I felt like I was in one of those warm and fuzzy Christmas movies and the camera was zooming in from the city, to the neighbourhood, to the little house in which my family would all be gathered around the dining table waiting for me. Alas, although I really enjoyed the cold, the snow, the French, and the friends, there's still a couple of weeks until I can add family to that picture. Good luck with the rest of your term and with your exams!
We will have to send you photographs to capture the view outside the house today. Toronto and area is being blessed with plenty of snow this year.
Weather forecaster are issuing stern warnings about the cold, wet winter ahead which causes me great delight. Imagine the sparkling white snow at night, the crunch of snow under your boots, the beautiful cross-country skiiing....hmmm.
